In the early 90's, Robin Sloan Bechtel introduced what was then called "The World Wide Web" to the music industry by creating the first site on the Internet for a band.  After the site became a pop culture hit, won design awards and was dubbed "history in the making" by the New York Times, Bechtel then spent the next two decades creating "industry firsts" by discovering unknown startups like YouTube, Facebook and MySpace and partnering them with the biggest names in entertainment.

silicon.wood specializes in the convergence of entertainment and technology, by partnering celebrities, bands and brands with our hand selected startups, new technologies and next generation trends.
